Trip to Bucegi and Transfagarasan

We all know how hard is to go in country which you do not know well. This can have a bad influence for the holidays. Knowing very well Romania I calculated a route for three days with two nights accommodation for two people. Starting from Otopeni Airport (Bucharest) to Bucegi Mountains and Transfagarasan  which i included: car, fuel for car, driver, cable railway and two nights accommodation. All this whith a cost of around 500 euro.

First day, departure is start from the airport and we go to Busteni, about 2 h journey.

There will be accommodation at Hotel and ascending the mountain uith cable railway, where you can visit Sfinxul and Babele.

The nex day we go  to Transfagarasan, about three hour journey with very beautiful route where you can visit more places with stops wherever you want. We can visit also the castle Poenari where you must climb 1400 steps, the dam Vidraru and cascade Balea.

 The second night will spend in the city Curtea de Arges.
 The third day you can visit Monastery Curtea de Arges built in the year 1514  and whay back to the airport.
